APPRENTICESHIPS
Austal Australia has a long-standing commitment to developing and retaining world-class tradespeople, which is reflected in our award-winning training record. Over 100 apprentices are currently learning and developing their trades from some of the world’s best shipbuilders at Austal Australia's Henderson and Naval Base (WA) shipyards.

AUSTAL GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (AGDP)
The Austal Graduate Development Program (AGDP) is a structured program that aims to identify, develop and broaden the skills, knowledge and competencies of our Graduates so that they are able to realise their full potential. The AGDP is structured to ensure that all Graduates make a valuable contribution to the function of their respective assignments through controlled learning and development opportunities.
The AGDP aims to capture Graduates who are commencing professional employment post-graduation.
The AGDP is a foundation for successful job performance and long term career progression. The program is designed to develop a core set of professional competencies in Graduates of all disciplines through varied work-based experiences and on the job learning.
